4 reasons you’re not getting results

applied fitness inc helps clients lose weight

Are you ready to ramp up your results? I hope so because this month I’m focusing on the TOP ACTIONS you can take to 10x your results …

… even (especially!) if you’re stuck in a plateau.

Basically, a plateau is when your results stall out and you stop seeing the progress you saw when you first started your program.

Nearly EVERYONE goes through a plateau from time to time. It’s not a fun place to be - but the good news is that if you DO experience one (or are in one right now), there are a few key things to pay attention to...

1. You Are “Kinda-Sorta” Following Your Program.
Have you started to slack on your plan? Be honest! This is one of the top causes of plateaus and it’s a good sign to shake things up with new recipes, workouts, or injecting some more FUN into the mix!

2. Your Body is Used to Your Workouts
This is another top cause of plateaus! The good news is this means you’re fitter. It also means it’s time to (safely) challenge your body in a different way.
Regular updates to your plan is going to be KEY to your success! A great coach can help you quickly identify small tweaks to fire up your results again.

3. Hormones, Stress, Sleep Deprivation, and More. Your body isn’t a machine! It’s an incredibly complex organism that functions best when it’s in balance.

So many things can throw it out of balance, from being overtired to overstressed and even undernourished and overworked.

4. You’re Not REALLY In a Plateau (Part 1). If you only rely on the scale to track your results, you’re missing out!
Your body could actually be changing in a big way EVEN if the scale doesn’t move. That’s why it’s important to measure other things - like the percentage of body fat or circumference measurements.

5. You’re Not REALLY In a Plateau (Part 2). If you’re struggling to lose those “last 5 pounds,” you might be at a weight that’s healthy and natural for your body.
Losing those pounds can take extra effort – as can keeping them off once you hit your goal.

I hope this list helps you rev up your results.

The fastest and surest way to get – and keep – your momentum going is to work with an experienced coach with a tried & tested program. They’ll be able to make adjustments as you need to make sure you stay on track with your goals to get the results you’re looking for!

Make it an amazing day,

Slim down fast (7 options)

Want to drop some body fat? Today I have 7 simple and effective ways for you to shed that unwanted body fat. While fat loss can be quite frustrating, these 7 strategies are proven to help you slim down fast. 1. Drink a Gallon of Water Water is always a crucial element for proper bodily functions, and even more so when fat loss is your goal. The conversion of fat into energy takes place in your liver, and this process requires that you be well hydrated. Drinking a gallon of water over the course of your day is a wonderful goal to aim for. This goal is easily met when you get into the habit of sipping water throughout the day, coupled with drinking a full glass before meals, upon waking and before bed. 2. Cut out Alcohol This fat loss tip is always met with groans, but despite its unpopularity it remains one of the most effective. The first reason that alcohol should be cut out in order to lose fat is that it’s filled with empty calories. These are simple sugars that taste great but ad

Want an easier way to lose fat? You’ll get to your goals quicker when you stop making these 5 Lifestyle Mistakes:  Lifestyle Mistake #1: Lack of Sleep.  To put this simply, you need to sleep more. Something like this.  If you’re tired, you won’t feel like cooking a healthy meal, and you’ll

The Silent Struggle: Why Losing Weight Is So Hard for Women Over 40

As we age, our bodies undergo a myriad of changes, and for women over 40, one of the most frustrating and emotional challenges can be losing weight. It's a silent struggle that many face, often feeling alone and without support, as the world around them seems to focus on the beauty and fitness of youth. But why is it so hard for women over 40 to lose weight? And why is this struggle so emotional? Firstly, let's talk about the physical changes that come with age. As women approach menopause, their estrogen levels drop, which can lead to a slower metabolism. This means that even if they're eating the same amount of food as they did in their 20s and 30s, they may still gain weight. Additionally, muscle mass decreases as we age, which further slows down metabolism, making it even harder to shed those stubborn pounds. But the challenges don't stop there. As women over 40 juggle work, family, and personal commitments, finding the time and energy to exercise
