This skill is like a superpower

There’s one thing that will make the difference for you when it comes to eating healthy meals, saving time, and staying on track for your goals. It’s not super sexy, earth-shattering, or even complicated. But most of us forget to do it, even though it works almost every time! It’s PLANNING AHEAD – and it’s so effective it should be a SUPERPOWER. This might seem basic but I’m sharing it because: Most of my new clients tell me they “wing it” (i.e., don’t plan) when it comes to their meals. And a lot of times, that means they end up ordering takeout or eating processed foods. We’ve all been there at one point or another, but a steady diet of takeout or processed food isn’t going to help you reach your goals. Taking just 4-5 minutes to plan out your meals for the week – preferably before you head to the grocery store – will help you: 1 - reach your goals faster 2 - have a happier, healthier digestive system (bye-bye takeout bloat!) 3 - feel more energized 4 - sleep better 5 - save time b

Oh No, NOT Again

Let’s face it, we live in a world where food temptations are everywhere…which leads to cravings, which leads to eating things that you shouldn’t, which leads to pounds gained. Again. And again. And again. Until you’re so fed up with your body that you don’t even know where to begin to get yourself back on track. Food cravings don’t need to have the upper hand on you anymore. Here’s how you can fight back using your most powerful asset: your brain . Remember that your mind is an amazing thing. Once your mind is made up about something it’s nearly impossible to change it. The key to overcoming food temptations and putting an end to food craving is in building negative associations in place of existing positive ones. I’ll break this process down for you in two steps: Step One: Create a STRONG Negative Association with Unhealthy Food You may not have realized it, but up until this point you’ve placed unhealthy, fattening foods on a pedestal in your mind. As long as the wrong foods are on t

This Changes Everything...

There’s one simple thing standing between you and your dream body. One. Simple. Thing. And here it is…You eat too many calories. That’s it. Solve this problem and your dream body will quickly and easily become reality. And it doesn’t matter if those calories are healthy ones. Too many of ANY calorie will result in weight gain. (Read Your fat Loss Nutrition Blueprint HERE ) Want proof? Kansas State University professor, Mark Haub, ate a diet of pure junk food for 2 months. I’m talking candy bars and packaged snacks – the kinds of things you find in a snack machine. You’d expect him to gain weight, right? Well, there was one catch. He was only allowed to eat 1800 calories each day. Yes, those calories were pure junk, but the limit was firmly put at 1800 calories. Before the experiment, Professor Haub’s typical calorie intake was closer to 2600 calories, so his junk food diet put him at an 800 calorie per day deficit. Boy, did that calorie deficit pay off! Within 2 months he ha

Ready for a change?

Do you wish you could change something about your life right now? I’m here to argue that change can happen in an instant. I know this goes against popular thought. Most people believe that change has to be worked at for months or even years. We expect to try and fail numerous times before we ultimately give up or succeed.   How many people do you know who struggle with their weight? They want to make a healthy change by getting in shape, but the change never seems to take hold. Is there something in your life that you want to change? Do you have weight to lose? Do you have high blood pressure? Do you have a pair of pants that you wish you could fit into?   What is keeping you from making a positive change in your life? According to professional speaker and author, Tony Robbins, it’s the getting ready to change that takes time. In the end there’s a single instant when the change occurs. Robbins goes on to outline three specific beliefs that you must have in order to instantly create a l
