Top 3 biggest weight loss mistakes (and a BONUS tip)

Are you making one of these mistakes that could completely ruin your ability to lose weight and keep it off?

Most people are.

A large majority of people are always hoping to lose anywhere from 5 to 20 pounds, especially this time of year.

Yet, only a small percentage ever reaches their goal and an even smaller percentage maintain the weight loss for more than a few months after.

The truth is, most people who are hoping to lose weight are making one of these mistakes that will completely derail their efforts:

1.) Too much too soon

Most people jump head first into a restrictive diet program that involves cutting out certain "bad" foods or food groups.

They commit to giving up their favorite treats for a few weeks and they fall for the lie that certain foods cause weight gain.

The truth is, the types of foods you eat don’t cause weight-gain.

The amount of food you eat can cause weight-gain if you’re eating in portions that aren’t customized to your body and your goals.

2.) Shakes, wraps, teas, pills, and juice

There are many well-meaning people out there promising that if you just drink their shake, do their detox, or take their magic pills, you will lose 20 pounds in 2 weeks and look like a supermodel.

If you’ve ever fallen for it, you know that there is no such thing as a magic pill, shake, juice, or wrap that will "melt your belly fat" and give you a flat stomach.

The truth is, you can lose weight and looks great without ever taking a single pill or drinking a shake.

Supplements CAN aid in your results IF you use the right ones in combination with the right nutrition system.

3.) No coaching

The best athletes in the world have coaches, why wouldn’t you need one?

Athletes who have been training their entire lives and are experts in their sport still need coaching for their workouts and nutrition, and so do you!

So many people try to lose weight without expert guidance from a coach and they feel lost and confused with no sense of direction when it comes to what to eat and how to work out.

Coaching is the difference between losing a few pounds and completely transforming your lifestyle.

BONUS MISTAKE #4) NOT following a structured program. Oftentimes people just want to "wing it" and do a little bit of "this" little bit of "that" and they end up with a whole bunch of nothing!

Fat loss (successful fat loss) should follow a plan, a structured system to achieve the desired outcome.
